David Horst

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Lisbon.

 

Previously, I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Porto Alegre). Before that, I’ve held postdoctoral positions at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and the University of Leipzig. I did my graduate work at the Freie Universität Berlin, the University of Pittsburgh, and the University of Basel (where I received my PhD).

I work mostly on issues at the intersection of epistemology, (meta)ethics, and philosophy of mind and action.
